Last night, I was introduced to Bulleit Barrel Strength Bourbon and I was pleasantly surprised.  It has a beautiful amber color which I admired for a few moments and the first sip was exceptionally smooth with mild, spicy, woody notes.  I am not exceptionally knowledgeable about bourbons in general but I could immediately tell that there was something special about this one.  You can feel the dedication to detail.  Bulliet Bourbon is distilled in Kentucky using the highest quality ingredients.  I came to find out that this particular bourbon won Best Straight Bourbon and received a Double Gold Medal from the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.  In 2017, Bulliet Bourbon Barrel Strength earned a score of 92 at the 2017 Ultimate Spirits Challenge – continuing Bulleit’s history of sharing award-winning whiskeys.  If you are someone that enjoys a fine bourbon, I trust you will be very pleased with Bulleit’s line of exceptional, artisan creations.  See more at: www.bulleit.com
