Don Julio introduces the world’s first Añejo Claro Tequila and it lives up to our expectations and then some. This beautifully crafted tequila tastes so pleasant and goes down so smooth that we found ourselves savoring every sip. We greatly appreciated the hints of vanilla and oak. Don Julio recommends this tequila to be served over ice and we did exactly that per their recommendation. Typically, we prefer chilled tequila without the rocks and in this case, we especially didn’t want to dilute the flavors with ice. However, we did try it with a small amount of ice and can honestly say, it was still very enjoyable.
